Used it to tow some roles to try and flattern me field. Fixed the transfer box so I could get it in low range. Grub screw had come loose on the little arm. Hopfully it stays tight :)

That's what I did in the end, ratchet on the plug and a fool off big breaker bar leaning against the chassis, and me hanging of the other end "crack" it started to move :). Fluid was white :( topped it up and made a mess in the process. Tis due a services so will get more oli and do it all again

Fitted new starter motor and bought new battery. Completely skint after last month and this months affairs! Just been out for a drive about with a mate who just got his on the road :)

Anyone know what thickness of ground wire would be suitable? I was thinking about 25mm (170 amp) for a starter motor strap could go a bit excessive and get a 70mm one ;)

Don't think solenoid is stuck. Had that problem before and it made a horrid noise when running! Plus I'm pretty sure I can hear it slapping the little cog in place when I turn the key. Personally think the brushes have gone in the motor :/ tried rocking It back and forth in first while holding...

Tried by passing it with a jump lead to engine bay. Get the starter click and relay but won't turn over. Though motor may be stuck so gave it a tap. Nothing, did notice sparks coming off it though when I tapped it with something metal. Bit odd
