Nooo by the looks of it I will be lucky to find a straight one! Ive ordered 8 so was going to replace them all. Rockers look fine, no idea aboit valves, dont know how to check?

Havent got new parts but was interested to see what happens when the cam goes. Pulled this out my head. I dont think its the original shape...

I read that, it said about moving it to India, producing it along side the replacement "defender" for the time being, and they were looking at scrapping the 90 and just building the 110..... which is ****. And possibly going back to sticking TDI lumps in it as India is more relaxed on the old...

Cam belt defo snapped. Can it be changed without taking the head off. And if not do I need the head skimmed beforr fitting the new gasket. Never done thiw before so something new.

I shall have to call a friend out and have a looky see. Bit of a pain when I have work in a few hours haha.

Mine just died on me. Got a 200tdi from a disco and it just went dead. Anyone have any ideas? Fuel alway to the pumo I think, power to the pump. When I turn it over thete doest seem to be much resistance in the engine. Possibly timeing belt?

had a drive around with a mechanic listening to my strange noise, he got out the car and scratched his head. Did find a work UJ with a bit of play in it but it wouldn't have caused the noise we heard. Although it is coming from the driver side of the gearbox/transfer box area.

Did thay couple weeks ago and it started dribbling out the fill hole, hadnt lost a drop. Transfer box was pretty empty, and had moisture because fluid was white. So filled that, doubt its gone down that fast :)

Deduced that its not steering related, coming from clutch end of yhe gear box, transfer box, front diff area. Noticed that changing down a gear and letting the engine speed uo causes a sligjt squeel as the clutch engages. Also seems to make the little clicking-metalic chirping noise when in...

Ahh I see, cheers for that. So to test i need to steer full lock and drive to see if it clicks.

Forgive me if I sound stupid, but I though fenders have the swivel housing instead of a CV. It doesn't do it when I steer, usually when taking up/relaxing load. Where are the flanges located? tis a bit of play in the front prop/diff. The rear is a lot worse, but i need new half shafts and...

Also, ive noticed a metallic click coming from the front drive train area, wondering if its the diff or a UJ or something. Anyone have any ideas?
