I've just finished restoring my DT400 and I'm looking for somthing to keep me occupied in the garage. I want a 110 convertable! My question is what would be the best variant to start with? a pick up or a hard top. (I only want 2 doors plus a rear half door). I want to end up with a full canvas...

Billing was first visit to a Landy show, not a bad day out but I can't get my head round why I have to pay to go and view trade stands, I wouldn't pay £35 to go into Lakeside. I did enjoy the offroad course but it was very tame, I only have road tyres but did all the red routes without any drama.

I would have thought if the bridle ways were on private ground and the land owner say's you can drive them that would be ok.

Mines noisy but stable, try and keep any heavy items low, I'd look again at the dampers. Excess play in steering rack, Rear tyre pressures from memory should be up around 65psi, maybe go for heavier springs all round to firm her up a bit!

Well it's all fixed thanks (for now) Told the wife that it's all down to me being a brilliant engineer.:p Jack car up, took wheel off, nothing. Spun the hub may times, then noticed the faintest click at one point. I sat there on the floor turning the hub listening to this, when I happened to...

No I'm not sure nothings catching, I should have time this morning to take wheel off and have a look. I've had CVs go before in front wheel drives and it dosen't sound the same to me.

Easy enough job to do? Any special tools? (by the way it's just 1 click per revolution)

The bearing seems fine, just checked the price of a cv kit (about £50) so not to bad. Are they easy to fit, just looked on my Rave cd and can't find it on there :confused: Any special tools needed?

Not clicking in the straight ahead but any slight turn left and it starts. I can't see how I can add grease without knowing whats in there and the only way to check is to strip it.

Just jacked up the front near side put some lock on and spun the wheel, nothing? Is it worth getting some one shot in case it's low?

Not that loud, I can only hear it if the window is down and it only happens when turning left (no matter how slight) at 30mph it may be twice a second ish. Swivel joint?
