    Hi , i have a 1998 diesel ( old two wire brake light switch ) i have tested all the sensors and all reading 930/950 ohms , brake light switch working ok , cannot take it to garage to have it read as theres no t&t on it at the moment ! so the only thing i can put it down to is a failed abs pump...

    yes ! i'v heard they can be taken off if theres a prob with the ird and / or the vcu , is that correct ? and thats when it starts getting expensive ! but if i get it from a car dealership , and things are wrong with it i'm covered by the sale of goods act for a cople of months ! Alan

    I'm handy with a spanner so doing things on it dos'nt bother me and if a spanner do'nt sort it i can always revert to a big hammer !! :D only thin that does bother me is checking the vcu !! bit difficult in a car showroom !!
