How do i know if my freelander 2 has a Haldex Unit or not 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto

My 1996 2.5 Range Rover DSE runs cold all the time. The neddle hardly goes above the blue in the winter. In the summer it indicates normal temprature even when towing. The viscous fan is running all the time so I guess this is why engine is cold. Anyone have any ideas or remedies. Thank you Hogey
