Nope! too far gone

So today saw more progress: And i think its safe to say the chassis is scrap and therefore ill need to get a new one. Its had a new crossmember but some of the other repairs and current rot i think deem it past it.....

So thats the donor stripped. Now to carry on stripping the 90 down and selling off its running gear!

Another day and more progress Roof and Cab back came off as they had sold: And carried on stripping. Found some chassis rot, around the outriggers and evidence of previous plating, also bulk head footwells just starting to go but so much better than I thought so far. Some of it looks new...

Had a couple of hours today so made a start! Anyone want to buy a shooting cage and the cab back/roof?

Ha if only that were true! Big strip down this weekend!

Soooooo an update! Truck has had the wheels balanced and drives wobble free again, which means I can get her out on some lanes again :) D2 is back in the barn awaiting its rebuild. Oil pump has gone so it needs stripping down and starting again! And I have another project that turned up this...

Well nearly a year on and shes still with me, albeit broken! It broke down one day in the summer. It was idling and just stopped dead. Wouldnt start again even when the AA had been out an played so got it recovered and as we unloaded it at the garage it fired straight up??? So instead of leaving...

Mines now ready to go but some others are mid build.....
