So I’m a total amateur who’s trying to change a cylinder head. I’ve found top dead centre, I’ve locked the camshaft. When I crawled under to lock the flywheel there’s no “notch” to lock the flywheel. I’ve got two coloured links on the timing chain with the groove between them what am I doing wrong?

I'm soon going to be changing the cylinder head on my 10P TD5. I expect this is going to be the most involved thing I've ever done, I've never really touched engines before other than changing a throttle body and spark plugs, but I'm expecting it will be a good opportunity to get some other jobs...
