I have been offered an ex-mod 109 series 3 running on a petrol engine with full hood and canvas and what appears to very sound body but and it is a BIG BUT It has no de-commission papers or VIN plate just an engine number…..how easy would it be to get the DVLA to issue a number plate...

hi and welcome, 2a or 3 not a lot between them - the 3 has a few more plastic bits but they are near enough the same beast :D Ebay - 50/50 some good bargins on there and some heaps, best thing is to view if you can - look around the footwells, bulkhead etc for rust petrol over diesel -...

well a bit of a gap but back on track, got a replacement bulkhead from a ex-mod 109 the other day and its solid :D now painted in red oxide and gray undercoat and ready to fit into the swb. also got a replacement seatbox ;)

as per title please, with legal tread and a road set would be a bonus as i have off road tryes :D

hi not a cowboy (i think) but when i did my n/s footwell i just chopped back the rust and put the new one in over the old one, my thinking was the old one (what was left) would give added strengh - was i wroung in my thinking :confused: mine is a SIII but a footwell is a footwell

good with welding - like my bulkhead tops, rusty lol. fit over the top, urm mind you for £10 its worth looking :D

Hi guys - yep it would need to be the top bits of the bulkhead, has any one fitted them? how hard is it to do...cut out and weld?
