Speaking of looking at the maps - is there a way of the music cutting out while the GPS gives you directions and then returning to music automatically - Just a thought - but why is a made in China 7 inch Android less money than a 7 inch pc monitor or is the screen quality vastly different -

So you could store music on the Android and then play via the car stereo !!

How does anyone get such a neat fit after cutting the plastic near the clock....all told told seems a better way to go though - was thinking of a screen in the dash - car pc in the boot together with one of those baby wireless keyboards ....

Had not considered new technology and screen resolution - might be better of trying to fit a new lcd screen in to the existing dash -

Around a £100 a pair more for the Arnot Gen 3's - no off roading as such but a lot of farm type tracks - once the front and rear air springs are done would guess new shocks would not go amiss...

I'll start with the front pair but I know the rears are iffy although not leaking yet. My mot man mentioned that the rears looked very worn - was thinking of getting the Arnott second generation air bag/spring unless someone knows better rather than the third generation plus a packet of spring...

My front offside air spring has sprung a leak so another job to be done. Just interested in the wear that's at the bottom of the spring - cannot see what it would rub against unless it's itself as it inflates and deflates - the rubber is so worn at the bottom it's back to the steel wires inside...

Finally managed to get the non working pioneer cassete out of the 99 rangerover. Luckily non of the wires appear to be chopped - seems to have two eight pin multi sockets one buff colour and one sort of blue that plugged in to the pioneer square connector - would anyone like to guess what system...

Thanks for the info - no steering wheel controls to worry about - pioneer cd changer in the boot - will have to get some proper extraction keys for the pioneer cassette - have fiddled with pieces of metal with no luck - so proper keys and find out if the wiring has been chopped - hope not ....

I have finally managed to remove the drivers door handle and have the STC3064G door handle cam kit. I know this has been discussed before but how do you actually remove the old cam from the handle - it's seems to be held in place by a hollow pin but how do you slide the pin out. My best idea so...
