Hi Not sure about the 2.5 petrol but i did a 90 2.5 diesel and it went in fairly easy. The battery tray has to be cut off and the battery relocted and one of the engine mount needs to be moved slightly i got over that problem by fitting slighty taller engine mounts Not sure if this help...

Just a thought guys I have noticed when i drive the land rover say 10 miles i have noticed the exhaust is VERY hot and the end of the tail pipe is this normal or could the series exhaust be to resticted for the larger 2.5 lump ???

Cheers mate thats a good info for conversion I think the series box has to be kept as the 200 tdi box is longer and the mounts will need moving and than i have the problem of the rear prop being to long !!! Has anyone put a 200 tdi in to a series ?? Any points which box did you use ??

yeah check that the cable seams to be fine when the pedel is down to the floor the fuel pump is touching the max screw. i reckon is has to be the diffs or could it be a injector what do you reckon

i an wondering if i have overgeared it i am running 235/85/16 tyres and the 90 diffs like i say its fine until you get to 4 th gear then its flat / dead is this possible would i be better of getting some series diffs ???

Just been out in her again 45 mph (with a sat nav) flat out engine is not reving hard just no more power ?? Anyone got any ideas ??
