What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Waxoyled the underside... used the Schutz canisters (x2) from Mmart, which seemed to do a good job.... 82p roll of tinfoil from local shop did the masking job nicely for the exhaust.... Dinitrol'd (x4) cavities - bit left to do the bulkhead, and doors. Pressure washed last week, and allowed to...

    Kenlow fan damaging radiator

My fan came with these, and I bought some more from Demon Tweeks... I think Rimmer Bros do them too. They poke between the water tubes with discs and foam pads to spread the load - they've lasted 45K so far!

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Replaced backrest foam on drivers seat as side bolsters had collapsed - forgotten how comfy and supportive the original seat could be... I thought I was up for a replacement seat... but thanks to Exmoor trim on youtube I have given it a go - easy to follow and clear instructions. Nothing wrong...

    Leaks Galore!

I concur... might need steam cleaning, to shift all that!... otherwise soak with GUNK/Jizer/degreaser before cleaning... then look to see which seals need replacing... it's surprising how oil travels around once released. Keep us posted...

    Manual to auto conversion?

Well I collected it today... just ahead of the COVID lockdown!!...my drive home on A roads may not have been the best test but Ashcrofts seem to have done an excellent job, you hardly notice the gear changes at all...seems to keep it in the power band quite well, and the kickdown was impressive...

I am due to collect my TD5 from Ashcroft on Friday... so will let you know... I was in the same boat, clunky gear changes combined with heavy clutch issues... Full size Intercooler AFTER remap, help please!!

Should I do the head dowels/gasket?!

When you did the oil pump bolt was it loose... I have ordered the bolt and sump gasket... but not relishing that task... You would think there would be some record from production of the engine number that they changed to loctiting this bolt!?

    Dirt D-Fenders...do they work?

Just sold a set... worked really well when I ran 265's, and got fed up with crap all over the door handle and lock, not to mention the salt spray on the bottom hinge in winter. Got mine from MUD STUFF. Got rid of them when I fitted rock sliders, and returned to 235's.
