No quite cheap. They are the ones machined from one piece, not the origional fabricated ones. They are available on ebay.

Hello, I am fairly sure I don't have a waste gate? If I do, its not visible on the outside. Is it inside the turbo ? There are no ancillary connections to the exhaust and no ancillary connections to the air system.

The water bubbler sounds interesting, but I am not sure how it could work because to draw the large flow of air through water it would need a large water tank and the pressure drop would be significant. I wonder if better to simply inject water at high pressure using a fine atomising nozzel...

My standard 1995 300 tdi comes with two electric fans in front of the radiator and the viscous fan behind. So I presume you can order the standard fans. I have never heard the electric fans start up. Maybe I should wire them in to a digital WGT meter at the alarm set point to turn them on?
