Fantastic vid, looks like you had a ball!

A lot of the snorkels I've seen, including the Roca one has a rear facing entrance, wouldnt that create a venturi effect & cause a vacuum in the actual snorkel giving poor air flow at motorway speeds?

I could probably make 1 out of aluminium but I wouldnt know where to start out of glass fibre etc. Going to stick with the original plan of having a good look at a disco version to get an idea of what they look like in the flesh & see where I go from there.

Looks pretty! If there are any stands selling the disco / defender snorkel at Peterborough I'm going to have a look at what would be involved to convert 1 to fit a freebie, just concerned that the angle to run up the A post would be totally different & end up looking a mess.

Running fine, ran well both times round the course, ran fine driving the 150 miles back home, ran fine while taking me rough shooting the following day & has run fine up to this evening. Sounds like the people in the know think I've been lucky, I'm happy about that. End of the day though...
