Just brought a new air filter for my 2002 Freelander V6, aint got a clue how to change it as theres a huge cover over the engine, any hints tips or pics would be great :) Cheers gary

G-Man you know bugger all about the KV-6 engine:mad: I own both a 300TDI disco, have owned a 90 V8 (carb'd) and a freelander V6, the V6 is 180 BHP standard and is a cracking engine. not to be mistaken for the 1.8 K series thats a lump of rubbish!!!

I had the same thing on my disco a few years ago, it sounds like the clutch fork has failed, thats why the pedal is staying on the floor. Not a major job to do but while the gearbox is off you may as well fit a new clutch and heavy duty clutch arm

Liz I always use this company (although I use landranger Deeside) - Landranger West Midlands 01902 490002 They are landy specialists and have always looked after me well. At worst case if your HG go's I think its a max of 300/400 to get it fixed!! I have the 2.5 V6 Petrol freelander in...
