yeah but 12 valves per cam over 3 pots so how do you bend all 4 on one pot and the other 8 are perfect? has it had lifter issues on that pot or some sort of foreign object? Just wondering as the OP never mentioned a cause.

According to Euro parts they are M12 as you thought, they will be M12 x 1.5 as this is standard metric pitch, they are definitely not MF "metric fine". To be sure measure the pitch from peak to peak with a vernier if you can get hold of one, or take a head bolt with you to the engineers...

I agree you can buy a petrol model cheaper than a diesel but as far as mpg and litre price is concerned theres no competition, 10 pence difference means you have to buy 13 litres of petrol to get a free litre compared to diesel but you going to get far further on 12 litres of diesel than you...

When they get that faded mask them up and spray them satin black with an aerosol. if they are only just starting to fade you can usually get them with back to black spray or Armoral plastic renovator.
