Been to Whitby towing a 1200kg caravan. There are some serious hills before you arrive at Whitby, the disco was F***ing rubbish!! I had coaches overtaking me whilst I was doing 20mph in 2nd with no where else to go. Is this how 300tdi's are on hill towing? If so I might go back to an estate...

UPDATE: New fork in, new slave in... Took bloody ages to pull through some fluid....don't know if it was our technique, or there is something buggered with the master cylinder? I have about 2inches of travel before there is any pressure....could the master cylinder be f**ked or should i not worry??

Think clutch fork shot...although put a HD one on 2 years ago.

yeah the pedal moved, but no clutch. topped up and is better but still not right... ok, so new fluid..with a gravity bleed...change slave anyway?
