May have just been crap tyres. I had new Avons fitted all round and they all wore on the outer edges very quickly except one. The Davanti Terratoura's are doing much better with exactly the same setup and pressures.

Not familiar with the freelander but some LEDs are polarity concious so may just need rotation 180 degrees if thats possible.

It may start but you may see other issues if it get's too low. My TD5 would start no problem but refused to rev beyond tickover due to low volts to the ecu.

You need to try what I suggested above before you start wasting money on remotes for something that may not work. Once you know it works then we can help with the remote. On my 2005 with the car parked and locked up on the drive it's the FBH that wakes up the cars HVAC so it may not work with...

Where did you get that picture from? The one on mine inside the drivers door shows different pressures depending on load, as do most cars I've had.

I know now't about them but how long does it run for before it gives up? Is it always roughly the same amount of time. Theory being it will probably empty the carb in the same amount of time, where as the coil would probably vary.
