    Diesel tag / label

Hi the diesel tag / label under the filler cap on a 300tdi 1995 appears to be held on with two screws. does anyone know if these are in captive nuts or do I need to reach behind the wing to get a spanner on a nut? Thanks

    Defining what it is.

So I have a Sept 94 M reg 90 300tdi vin number suggests it’s a 96 model year. Which is about right for a September 95 reg. It has a MA948*** vin number. sometimes when searching for parts it definitely falls in one group. But then looking at a Bearmach transmission tunnel mat for a R380...

Wipers slow after new spindle boxes

Thsnjs thanks. Yes will do earth next. After all I don’t actually need speed when dry. Although they definitely get better the longer engine is running. Re hoses thanks. May cut up and old Henry hose to give me more tolerance.

Wipers slow after new spindle boxes

Quick question about the demister hoses. Mine appear to be similar to hoover hose but if they were an inch longer might fit on the demister and in the rubber skirt below. Has anyone swapped these for aluminium ducting or actually cut up a hoover hose to make longer?

Wipers slow after new spindle boxes

yeah that's my thinking - when I bought it the LH wiper spindle turret was loose and I wonder if that stressed the motor. Once I took that off and ran for a few weeks without it it was fine.... 25 years I guess its just tired :0)

    Plugs above rear cross member

okay I have updated my profile thanks for the heads up its a 1995MY 300tdi Defender 90 (county). I seem to remember when I swapped the lights to LEDs the rear indicator on passenger side had crimped connectors not the official one. I wonder if perhaps the original connector had an issue with it.

    Plugs above rear cross member

Okay by which point I’ll have had to have gone underneath anyway.

    Plugs above rear cross member

Well there was a picture when I posted. I’ll try again. So to be super clear as some of the description was missing too. these plugs can be seen through the gap between top of rear cross member and bottom of rear door. one is very similar to the sort of plug seen on the loom where a side...
