Hi - seemed to have resolved it - after noticing the dipped beams weren't working. I had managed to dislodge Dim/DIp relay (or whatever the non dim/dip version is called) and when I plugged it back in everything worked. Not sure why that would impact gauges though.

What are the earth flyleads that go on the bracket spindle for? Also notice full beams and side lights working and not Headlights. So need To start again I think.

Morning apart from at the gearbox, bulkhead and speedo is there anywhere else the speedo cable is fixed - e.g. to keep it following a particular path etc..... Just trying to work out if I can do the job by just removing plate under cubby, or if I need to go somewhere where I can get underneath...
