Plugged into Hawkeye diagnostic and had a machanic come out with a snap on diagnostic and nothing coming up ...the solenoid works untill it cuts out then once it cuts out the solanoid isn't engaging but the voltage is still going to it

No fault codes all been plugged in when it cut out last I tested the solanoid and its not clicking up and down but there's 12v going to it

I don't mind paying the price if I know it will fix it so I'm thinking by pass the solanoid if it works then purchase new one

Hello sorry have not been in touch still got the problem bled the system no air in it now in tank pump is indeed working as it's pumping fuel through to the filter my next guess is the cut off solanoid but I'm pretty disguested at the prices for all other rangeys is like 10-30 quid but for. P38...

Hey guys just an update it's been seen by a machanic and been told there's a high resistance fault between crank shaft sensor and ecu advised on getting a new wiring loom not sure what could of caused this

The mileage is 179k and there's no diesel flow through the filter witch is a new filter or into the injectors so I'm taking a guess that one of the pumps have packed up just determined what one.....but also if I force the car into limp mode and he car won't cut out

Sorry just noticed there is air in the clear pipe on the filter

Right there's power going to the fuel stop solanoid and also the temp sensor at the front cleaned them all off and still nothing

Hello no air in the pipes I will check the fuel cut off tomorrow as I havnt been to the car today other then that the only thing that springs to mind could be inmobalisor well maybe might have to look into bypassing it

Hello I'll be as clear as possible as I've only just got this 2 weeks ago.....I have a 1997 range rover p38 2.5 dse it at random times could be 1 mile or 100 5 mins or a week it is completly random....once it cuts out it won't start again for at least 6 hours just turns over but won't fire up...
