Afternoon. Thanks for the comments...a problem shared as they say. The engine company has emailed today to say that they will indeed collect the car and fix it. They are just trying to sort a date. Interesting, but welcome....all i want is the engine sorted then i can move on...

Rpi did indeed fix the fault on my brothers car, at no cost to him and he is very happy with their service.
