Does anyone have a photo of what the wiring for the glow plugs on a 200tdi should look? I have lists of wire colours etc., but my truck has been so...modified... over the last 25 years that I have no idea if what I have is what should be there. There is one thick brown are to the rear-most...

My Defender has killed two aerials in the last two weeks. The radio still works on FM/AM etc, but not with DAB. Does anyone have any suggestions why this might happen? It was working fine for about a year until this month.

Thanks all. Maybe I'll give them a bit of time to loosen up. Not sure loving wife finds crawling in through the back door, when the doors jam shut, all that much fun, but I'll tell her it's all part of the Defender experience.

Does anyone have any experience of any differences between aftermarket and original door seals (for the front doors of a 110)? Just replaced both my front doors, and now the locks get very tight. My local expert says it's because the aftermarket door seals I had on the old leaky doors are too...

I have to replace the rear door on my 1991 Defender 110, but want to neaten up the wiring to the wiper motor and heated screen. Where should it run? Is it fed through holes drilled in the vertical frame members, or is it designed to hang loose and look scruffy?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap spray-painting kit? I have to paint three doors on my Defender, so it's too much for cans, but not worth my while buying a proper set-up.

The CD/digital radio in my 1991 200Tdi has recently developed a fault, which is apparently (according to internet searches) linked to a poor earth in the light system. That is, it will work fine for a while (5 miles or so) with the headlights on, then turn itself off. Then back on. Then off...

Mrs. O has just phoned me. She's been driving up the A11, in the 1991 Defender 110. Apparently it smells a bit funny when she gets it up to 80. Can't wait to see what sort of state it's in when she gets back.

That's my problem, there are loads of options in front of the wheel (if you don't have a passenger door), but I don't have a compartment behind the wheel. There is a void under the floor behind the panel, but no compartment, lid or cutout.

I can't get the right Google terms, so I've come to the experts. I want to install a jerrycan holder in the space behind the rear wheel on my 110. It's just for a water can. I'm sure there must be a ready-made product for this; could someone help by pointing me in the right direction? Thanks

Oh, the wiring!!! We spent most of last weekend chasing wires from one place to another on the Defender, taking out bits that weren't attached at either end or fitted some modification that was taken out in 2004. I think they should be live, but then the rear windscreen wiper doesn't work so...

Hello all, I have just bought my first L/R (110 Defender, 1991). It came with these bars down either side, in the back. So, they're bolted on the top of the wheel arch, and resting against the side panels. Could anyone tell me what they are supposed to be for, and if they're useful/effective...
