I recently had a pair of new tyres on the back and a pair of well worn ones on the front. It was scary to drive especially with any weight in it. New tyres on the front and it drives like new. I wouldn't have believed that the tyres could make so much difference but they did.

Mismatched tyres can cause a lot of instability.

Buying a flaring tool etc and a load of copper pipe and fittings is still cheaper than buying ready made pipes or indeed getting a garage to do it. Far better to spend your money on a quality tyre like BFG than a not so cheap remould like Insa. The BFG will last three or four times as long so far cheaper in the long run.
