Cheers mate I went out in the snow last night and the idler pulley fell off taking the drive belt with it :-( so far I have not survived one challenging task without something breaking...

No probs Marko we all got lives to live :-) it turned out to be a dirty crank sensor plug it was caked in crap. Im just looking into the remap as I have an early td5 im not sure if a remap can be flashed straight onto it I'm sure I read somewhere it needs the later type ecu?

Hi Marko its ok I don't mind giving it a go. My car sputtered and cut out today the engine light came on but it restarted straight away. I have a spare ecu and thought about swapping it on top of other little jobs. So it's time time to take you up on your offer :-) are you about today?

I have the 50mm arch kit I bought them at the same time I got the wkheels online it wasn't until I fitted everything did I find out they were not completely covered up. The police have had plenty of chances to pull me but so far they don't seem bothered. If I do get a tug I'll be sure to get the...

It was mot'd with those wheels on and nothing was said about them. I've read so much conflicting info on the web that I'm just going to play it by ear.

Hi Mate in all honesty mud tyres on wet tarmac are dangerous don't ask me how I learnt that lesson :-( In some circumstances it will rub on the wheel arches but not that bad really. Sorted and thanks :) Cheers mate :)

Update: the car suffered catastrophic turbo failure resulting in it running off its own oil for a few seconds which certainly gotta attention. So I replaced the turbo with a nice shiny recon unit with new oil pipes and filters etc. Luckily the engine survived without a single problem. It did...

So here it is the bog hopper... Mods so far include 2" super gaz lift, extended brake lines, 15x10 modular wheels, BF Goodrich - Mud Terrain KM2 33x12.5r15 tyres, Extended wheelarches, XS Half leather interior, other work includes new front axle and a few jobs in the pipeline like defender...

Sorted the wheel arches today for the 33x12.5r15 tyres I'm looking to get it remapped soon too.

Evening chaps just a quick hello I bought a discovery 2 off here a couple of months back and I'm in the process of preparing it for a bit of greenlaning I've just fitted the wheels and got a few more mods on the way so though it was worth an introduction. Thanks Greg
