I only have eas manual pop up with one beep . Ive checked hoses and loom into ecu also under inlet pipe , still not revving over around 1700 rpm . Looks like its a machine hookup see what that says and if thats fruitless then a rangie shall get its viking funeral .

The owners handbook says the slow 35mph max message means your ride height is too low and slow down to 35, so tgats just an advisory and not imposed by the ECU ? And pant colour is blue which is a universal colour so your quite correct about pant colour having zero effect :D

If it wasnt done properly and the eas locked with the fault codes cleared then it woukdnt be a problem until the system has no power and then it powers up picking up on the fault . I need to find if it was bypassed I think , if not im right . If not my rangie is sat dripping oil on the...

Thats exactly the reason I think the ecu eas bypass hasnt been done so the commy thinks the bags are deflated and stuck 35mph max .

It is possible yes however the eas console light still works . since all ive done is electrical than surely its a fault . Or a dodgy wire in the ecu plug .

Am I right in thinking this site has a section listing members with diagnostic equipment ?

Ive bought a diag cable and will download the eas suite when it shows in a bid to find and clear codes . Was working fine til I disconnected battery.

As per thread title i have a message that pops up on my display saying `max speed 35mph` what is it and what does this mean ? i bought the rangie not long back its had a coil kit put on but compressor still works as i can hear it so i can only guess its had the EAS bypassed as it says EAS...

It did pop up a slow 35mph max message however it only came up once , I did think it was the speed limiter set to 35 however I remember seeing it flash up as 20 very breifly . It revs very slugishly to around 2000 rpm , as eas is the only message popping up its a guess thats what the problem is .
