    Discovery auxiliary socket in Freelander

Mystery wire identified, cheers for that! I've added wiring in the past, so no stranger to splicing. Would like to try and wire it in oem style though, any idea if I can get power from C594?

    Discovery auxiliary socket in Freelander

Hello folks due to a lack of readily available Freelander 1 auxiliary sockets I've gone for a Discovery 2 one. I have a few queries that I'm hoping some of you can I help me with. There are 3 wires, one is power (purple/green), one is earth (black) and I have no idea what the extra...

    Heavy duty clutch

That's all I can think off, going to take it to a reliable mechanic that I've met since having the clutch changed and have him carry out a replacement, quite tempted by this https://clutch-specialists.co.uk/products/cg-motorsport-dual-friction-clutch-kit-400-0342

    Heavy duty clutch

I never saw the LUK packaging and they failed to plug my HDC back in so my faith in the garage isn't amazing.

    Heavy duty clutch

LUK clutch has failed on me after 10,000 miles and a trip to Avalanche and Billing. The DMF was checked and confirmed as decent enough to leave in, this time the whole lot is getting done.

    Heavy duty clutch

For exactly that reason, I'd like to not have to repeat the expensive experience on a yearly basis moving forward.

    Light pod covers

Really great weekend at Billing up until some scumbag stole one of my driving light pod covers. Didn't come over in the water as I've got pictures of the vehicle after. Literally happened in the last half hour whilst I went to say goodbye to some people. Has anyone got one they'd sell me?

Help identifying door card handle part

Hi folks any clues on what this piece is called or what the part number might be? It's from a facelift freelander 1 and locks the handle to the door card which you the put a screw through.

    Can I replace a 16p with a 15p?

Brilliant stuff, you've just saved me a ballache and a half!

What have you done to your Freelander today

Replaced the doors and now have the glorious task of repositioning the internal door handles.

    Can I replace a 16p with a 15p?

Right O 15p it is! @sierrafery is there any differences that I'll need to adapt wiring/parts for between the 15 and 16? Cheers!

Freelander 1 Door cards, are they interchangeable?

Did you ever get around to finishing the conversion? In the process of doing it myself at the moment.

    Can I replace a 16p with a 15p?

How is it not good for me, surely if the 15P - 22P models are the same then that would make dropping a 15P in easier?

    Can I replace a 16p with a 15p?

The 16p is hens teeth unfortunately and a new 16p head from turner is about £1,300 with vat. The idiot before me has left the head off causing surface rust on the piston surfaces, so it'll be more then likely more money for a rebuild then it would be dropping an engine in.
