Ah sorry there is only 2 connections on the fuel sender unit. https://www.lrukforums.com/threads/fuel-sender-wiring.20926/ So I have spare black wire.....suppose I could connect to the hand brake lead spade connector and see if my dash light comes on when the hand brake is engaged.

Thanks mate. So the green wire is possibly the old reverse light wire as the last owner had a new reverse light fitted above the door and this was rewired. My fuel gauge/Oil is working fine on the dash - so the sender unit has connections on the 2nd and 3rd spade connection but not the first? So...
