Just bought a 200tdi.....so where can I find a decent welder.

I've had a go before and gave up. It's the usual discovery 1 spot in the rear door shut near the seat belt anchorage. And to be fair GRATCH has done such a good job on the other side I wouldn't want to ruin it with my attempt. It's got a fair few months MOT so no immediate rush. I could wait as...

Just bought a 200tdi.....so where can I find a decent welder.

Just been to see GRATCH and view a discovery. Felt safer buying from a fellow LZ'er. As expected very tidy for the mileage. Deposit paid, collect later in the week. Only thing I can't tackle myself is welding. Can anyone recommend a cheap/good welder in or near Runcorn? As it's a discovery...

    Tyre leak round rim

Rust on steel rim. Very common. Break beads sand rim down so tyre can make a smooth seal. Use bead sealer if required.

    Finally picked it up

Good luck with it. I've always wanted a V8 but the fuel economy is what puts me off. Don't forget to keep us updated. Matt

    Landsail Tyres

Nankang/Nexen are a lower mid range tyre. Not a budget. I'm a mobile tyre fitter and I've got Nexens on my daily. Pound for pound can't beat them.

    Landsail Tyres

Landsails are the cheapest of budgets from the wholesailer. So you can put a massive mark up on them and still make them look cheap. AVOID!

    Anyone understand LPG?

So if I can get it for right price it'b worth a punt? Aparently it's running sweet on petrol just needs LPG sorting.

    Anyone understand LPG?

Seen a 4.6 for sale with LPG but says the LPG needs a new ECU? Is this a ridiculously expensive fix? Is it a do it yourself job? Not scared to get my hands dirty but know nothing about LPG. Seems a cheap buy or should I just stay clear?

    Anything for under £1000?

Unfortunately don't know of anything local. Sounds like you were lucky with yours, hope I get something half as good. Been trawling eBay for a few days but noting with more than a weeks MOT. There's a few cheap shoguns/pajero's but was hoping stick with LR.

    Td5 fuel economy.

What worries me is I borrowed my dads modded TDV6 auto last weekend, he averages 24.5 but my best was 18.2 so I'm guessing I'd only get the bottom end of those figures.

Hi rick I spoke to you a while ago about a Rangie you had for sale. Unfortunately my now wife decided the wedding was more important than a new toy. I know it's a long shot but do you still have the truck?

    Td5 fuel economy.

I know an Auto is obviously less economical than a manual. But is it a MASSIVE noticeable difference? If it's only a couple of Mpg I can live with it. Thanks
