    Classic New project!

Yes, would originally had a 3.5 carb engine. Thing is I've got a good 3.5 Efi engine sat around doing nothing so won't cost me anything to swap it and i can then sell the Perkins.

    Classic New project!

Hi, it's a Perkins 4236 turbo. Was fitted in 1991 by the previous owner. Not run for years but some fresh fuel, bled the system and it fired up no problems.

    Classic New project!

Picked this up couple of months back. '84 Vogue, has been fitted with Perkins but will be changing that for a 3.5 Efi. Body isn't too bad, will need repairs to footwells and rear inner wings. Worst part is rear chassis legs, will have to have a better look when boot floor and tank are out. Being...

    Classic Folding wheel brace

Looks like late eighties then....thought it might have been just 2 door ones that had it.

    Classic Folding wheel brace

Bit of an odd one but does anyone know when the 'folding' wheel brace was changed for the standard all one piece one?

Perkins 4236 turbo, any idea on value please?

There's a few on eBay. Cheapest, which is listed as not working, is £900!! There's one for £1,200 as well. Guess I'll just put it on and see what happens.

Perkins 4236 turbo, any idea on value please?

Hi all, I've recently purchased a '84 Range Rover Vogue, which I plan to restore. It is fitted with a Perkins 4236 engine with turbo. Car had not run for a few years when I bought it. Changed fuel filter, coolant and hoses, checked oil etc and after bleeding system it fired up almost straight...

    Classic spoiler

Hi, I removed it from a classic I broke about 6-7 years ago. Has been gathering dust in my garage ever since! I have a '92 but don't have a spoiler fitted as I use it off road and it wouldn't last long! Just purchased a 1984 Vogue to restore, if I'm correct this is before the front spoiler was...

Just seen this advertised for sale, looks stunning. High price tag but where would you find another like this!? http://oakleafautomotive.co.uk/car-sales/range-rover-4-6-vogue/

P38A P38 4.6 HSE on eBay, opinions please

No, engine swap was at 75k and taken off road at 104k. Phoned seller but car has now been sold. There's plenty more out there! Even seen some nice L322 models for around the 5k mark.

P38A P38 4.6 HSE on eBay, opinions please

Just been checking the mot history. It was mot'd until 2012 then not again until 2016. Current mot runs out in August. 4 years is a long time for a P38 to be stood not being used!

Thank you for taking the time to respond, very much appreciated. Saint.V8 what you've said makes a lot of sense, I too can't abide poorly written adverts. I thought exactly the same thing when reading this advert...why no paragraphs! But I think this can be forgiven as on the whole it is well...
