What have you done to your Freelander today

Finally got round to replacing my nsf window regulator. Funny old episode lasting 5 weeks. Bought a cheap one off ebay, which was good enough quality wise but, when it arrived it was marked 'drivers side'. Eventually got a refund after trying to explain to a Chinese person, (from Leighton...

What have you done to your Freelander today

My son was able to do me a good price, (he's in the trade), but reckoned they were pretty good and at half the price of BFG and looking just the same, it was a shame not to. They will be worked hard through the winter at around 2500 feet, so it will be interesting to see how they perform.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Fitted four Event All Terrain tyres. Much cheapness, but I will be spending the winter up and down to a wind farm, so we'll see how they do.

    New Workhorse

Got myself this Freelander last Friday as my new job takes me into the Scottish mountains to new build wind farm sites. All good so far, except for a terrible vibration on Sunday at about 50 mph. I had a look on Monday and found the rear diff front mount shot. Picked one up for £28.00 and had it...

How long will you keep your freelander for?

I just got my one on Friday but, it'll be here until I break it, or something newer that does the same comes along. All the talk of ridding the world of diesel and petrol isn't going happen overnight, so I think the FL will be safe for a good while yet. My other car is an Audi A3 3.2 sport...

    It's been a while.....

Hi all, not new to the forum but it has been several years since I was here last. When I registered in 2010, I had a Disco V8 with LPG conversion, loved it, but it got the better of me in the end and was sold on. Got myself a 53 plate Freelander last Friday, mainly for work which see's me up in...

What have you done to your Freelander today

After a seven year absence from Land Rover, I bought myself a Freelander today. 53 plate TD4 ES. Big miles, don't care. Runs sweet, is still tidy and I spent most of the afternoon with a big grin and loving it. Tomorrow, I suss out BMW cyclone filters and the passenger front window regulator...

    Rear valance ?

Thats it, didn't realise it was the body crossmember, thought it was just a panel covering the crossmember. Along with the boot floor, a big job just got bigger! Thanks.

    Rear valance ?

I pulled out my boot carpet to go rust hunting today and wasn't disappointed at what I found. I thought I could patch the worst but just kept on poking holes along the seams so a new panel will be going in. Question is, behind the rear bumper the panel is badly corroded and needs replacing as...

    What calliper?

Hi, just picked up my Disco yesterday and its not as bad as I thought. But I do have a bit of a problem, when I tried to get a new nsf brake calliper the reg. no. threw up four different items. Is there any way of telling which will do from the chassis no. etc.?

    Highland Newbie

Hi all, just bought a V8 Disco ES, new to Land Rovers but always wanted one. It has the usual probs, steering box leaking, front caliper leaking, rear inner arches gone, and "some" welding required underneath. All I need to now do is blow the dust off the mig welder and get stuck in. Turning the...
