    What have you done to your Freelander today

    Started stripping the F$"^&(@@g thing down in the Pi$$14@ rain for clutch change. Seemed like a good idea going the DIY route. Every bolt solid so far, even the under engine cover which has been off loads!!! Resume tomorrow weather permitting.

    Td4 HP fuel pump leaking - Mot fail?

    I did mine last year. it was the small o-rings under one of the covers. I replaced the orings and cleaned up the little spindles they fitted on. Leaks be gone!! Took me about 6hrs. The worst bit was trying to get the drive belt back on!!!!

    Well I got a 2nd hand Turbo Solenoid from ebay and a bottle of injector cleaner. Bingo!!! Sweet as a nut. Not sure which cured it but it's fixed:D for now anyway. I sat with my foot on the accelerator ar 2000rpm for 5 mins and it didn't miss a beat. Cost to fix £22.
