Same here! I put a strap on each end. Thankfully, I think I only had less than a quarter of a tank of fuel. But it was still pretty heavy. The cradle was painted when I brought it but I primed and painted it again for extra protection.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me with this. Especially gstuart! I managed to get a genuine OEM cradle and swap it over myself, on my driveway. I’ve taken quite a few pictures and videos, so maybe post something on YouTube to help others out. Thanks again!
