    well after 8 months of hard graft outside on the street in the rain and more f"£$%ing rain fending off well wishers with good intentions and clean hands ripping rusty off my S3 and putting new and shiney on, before sending to it off to richards for a new chassis (thanks and big up to Paul there)...

    thanks for your replies will try some very fine emery on the steering column and try and tap down it slowly. as this is the only bearing for the job so sumats not right eh! the bearing its self is a bit rough and this is the second one i'v got you would think they would get it right...
