Is this type of pipe suitable for diesel? Dont want it only to last so long then have to replace it again. just trying to do it properly first time as its a stripped body and chassis at the minute

Got a bobtail 300tdi discovery, got the fuel tank in the boot and would like to know if to run the fuel lines through the cab or under the body? Also renewing fuel lines, what diameter pipe do i need and whats best fuel pipe to buy?

What you mean pop it onto the valance? Sorry not used to testing the relays, ive tested the glow plugs plenty before

Since doing my head gasket, changing lift pump. I have no trouble starting what so ever now so thats a bonus. but now, the glow plug light isnt lighting up what so ever, any ideas?

Finally got it running after couple of hours changed the lift pump, and after a bit of cranking it started. Going to see how it starts after sitting tonight. Tried giving injection pump 12v and was no different. Not sure if the injection pump is weak or failing slowly

Used lever underneath could feel it pushing it through, filled new fuel filter up and tried cranking. Just cranking and no feels like no fuel when using lever on lift pump again

Ill try bleeding the system tomorrow as well as checking fuel stop wire is still attached.

Cheers, you got another 12v feed to your fuel pump? Is this due to immobiliser issues?

Where abouts is the primer lever on the lift pump mate, im new to these haha only had it a week

Head gasket went on 300tdi, took head off, had it skimmed and new head gasket! Gone to start it, just turning over, cracked injector pipes off and seems to be no fuel getting to the injectors. Any ideas. also popping noise through exhaust while cranking over thank you

If thats the case, i might just repair the body and leave it how it is. If i knew someone who knew the laws and what it entailed of having to be done. Then it wouldnt be as bad

So does the cutting off of the rear chassis over hang make it require a test and Q plate the vehicle?

Rotten in the boot. Im going to fix it either way but my thoughts was to either bob tail it or tray back it at the same time. Its just knowing what has to be done for it to be fine if needs testing

Im thinking of either tray backing my discovery or bob tailing it. What laws do you have to cover doing either of these and heard they have to be dvsa checked afterwards?
