    indicator fault again

Nowt worse than gremlins in the electrics. I had a load of electrical problems and they all started when I went into the fusebox. Seem the fuses/ holders were so old they had some kind of corrosion on them that meant when I put them back in they weren't making a conncetion. New fuses and...

    Steering Pump leak

Got a wee leak on my steering pump. All hoses are ok, coming from the join in the casing near the belt end. Is there a seal kit for them? I read someplace they are unservicable. 150 quid for a brit**** replacement :-( Cheers

Moving to France with a 'fender

CT's or (MOT's) are indeed every two years, I have never heard them called strict, however. I brought a renault over and registered it in France and it was pretty simple. The French system is beaurocratic slow and rigid so I can see the engine swap issue being a nightmare. My Defender...

    Track Rod End

So if the rod is correct there should be a conventional right thread on the passenger side and a left thread on the drivers side?

    Track Rod End

How does one tell what thread is needed on the track rod end with out taking the old one off first? I need a passenger side TRE for my 86 110.
