Ummm yet a stupid question again but what tools do I need for the sump plug and the axles etc?? Only asking as I'm priceing it all up now. I have worked on cars before but never a 4x4 and never done a service so I have most tools but don't know if I'll have the rite one for the sump plugs,axles...

Hey I want to service my 1996 300tdi disco. Just wondering if some one can please list what oils an filters etc I will need for engine and axles and gearbox etc and if some one knows were I can get it all in Essex.I'm around the romford area. Never serviced a landrover or any other kind of car...

Sorry but weres the thread?? Can't find it but then again I'm only new hear so don't know what EMM means haha. I have never been to any pay and play days before. If I can't get my diff linkage un seezed is there bits were I can just plod around?? Also might have a couple of other peaple wanting...

Cheers mate and yeah it does have it's rot spots but nothing that can't be fixed. Yeah I'll keep looking for a meet up as I only go on my own but i only do the ones that arnt that messy (well intill I get my diff locks working)

Thanks for the replys guys. Yeah I'm going to make a start on it next weekend with the oil etc. Just been out around brentwood green lanes testing it :-) Much better then my old vitara haha So yeah I'm over the moon with it and my dogs love it to with all the space in side to Jump around.

Picked it up and it's all good :-) Apart from can't get it into the diff lock but guess that's a sizzed lingkage but o well.

I also have just picked up a 300tdi :-) and my trip home was round the m25 didn't break down tho. Were you from??

Oh I forgot to say that I have put a depoist on it and picking it up on Thursday :-) In my eyes it's a rite little bargin
