Timken quality make same as oed £72 but as you say went for the cheap one, hay ho should still be good for 10/15K

I am afraid that I ordered a cheap hub, times are very hard start back work January, £56 from foundry the timken was about £76 if I had it would have gone for it

That's the front right wheel bearing gone yesterday, jacked up and soaked bolts in wd40, hopefully come off ok today, hubs not due till 27th so no rush, it was not as noticeable as on the D2 possibly due to better soundproofing, who knows, so the old d2 has saved the day, just means the "watts"...

Thinking about what's happening, it can only really be powering off at the bottom of the gear section ! Reasons cant even be bothered to think it through, my strange engineering brain shall work it out in my sleep, driving to work, having a cuppie lol, anyway as long as I don't take it back...

Well that's it working again, exact same as last time, took the 4 bolts out that hold the motor and assembly, lifted the glass pressed the up button and away it went, nice and strong ???, anyway rebuilt moved it about by hand till I saw one bolt hole then up and down till the others aligned...

I'll hopefully get a look tomorrow, thanks for all the comments, the killer is, I bought another disco and the chap threw in two spare window mechanisms, dammed if I can find them
