is it an actual vibration you can feel or more of a rattling noise? a tinny rattle or more heavy sounding?
Is there clearance where the 2 exhaust pipes pass over the gearbox cross member?

Landcruisers get a switch that says "power heat" what this does is ups the revs to a fast idle and engages an auxilary water pump to pump colant through the heater so you get a bit of warm air a bit sooner
When you topped up the transmission how much did it need? You did check the level with engine running after running through from P to 1 and back to P while its all still cold?
I thought the HSE's got electric memory seats, wood cappings on the door cards and headlamp wash/wipers, my M reg 4.6 HSE does and I'd have thought by 99 MY they would be loading the toys on to shift them before the introduction of the L322
Ok, if you put it into low range the engine/gearbox will still be doing the same speed, the transfer box onwards to the axles will be going slower. this would see if its engine /gearbox speed related or actual road speed thats causing it, revving the engine in neutral would be to see if it was...
Does the engine rev cleanly in neutral, the vibration only happens when your actually moving?
Have you tried shifting it into low range and seeing if it still does it?
You say your turning the key 4 times to the left to start with, earlier cars you didnt do that, just made sure you started from the car being locked. what year is your car?
Is the clutch on the pump kicking in and out as it should?
It should run for a bit till theres enough pressure and then kicks off, it'll then re-engage when the pressure has dropped a bit.
