is it only when you set off? or on every full rotation of the wheel. my guess is UJ's...again!...as they clang until the slack is tacken up. or worn bushes holding the rear axle on. UJ's are at the end of the prop and are always a good place to start. they will be obvious if their knackered...

i think it may be that the mechanism has worn excessively, or the shoe return springs are weak? i bought a new mech and it sorted everything. cost £35 odd quid though!!

i second that. sounds like out of balance wheels. especially with your monsters, one weight could make a big difference. loose wheel nut? but it probably would have come off by now! egged tyre?

and i have 12.5inch wide tyres.

i bought some cheap ones off ebay for £3 from some local guy. the landy is 3T in total. the weight of just the front or back is considerably less. in fact mine are the same a the machine mart ones and there fine.

read it again. will the new door have ali strips too? if so, easy. if not i think the glass is different

well, your all too late. it failed. 1.fog light doesn't work 2.shim needs removing from one front tractor joint as a bit of play 3.one rear bearing needs tightening 4., number plate obsured. work i did pre mot: welded 3 patches and waxoyled whole chassis new tie rod ends new drop arm...
