    Bush Wackers ?

    oops. double posted

    Bush Wackers ?

so actually the law which could get you in trouble is also the 'get out' they use for everything non standard. ie winch bumpers, mascots, additional lumps etc. I would say the issue would only rise IF someone got injured specifically by them, but i'm fairly sure that it you didn't hit them you...

    Bush Wackers ?

ignore my SVA comment. External/internal projectons aren't part of the comercial SVA test
  5. S

    Bush Wackers ?

the minimum size for something to pass an SVA is 3mm. so 3mm wire would pass an SVA and the camel left the factory with them. i think they would have a hard time stopping you tbh

    Bush Wackers ?

doesn't count as proof then! :p

    Bush Wackers ?

can you prove they would cause injury? i think a winch bumper probably would do more damage!!

    Help tyres too wide :(

my mates a copper and i asked him. he said you will never get stopped by the 'normal' plod as it is not a matter they deal with. if they stop you for missing number plate or something illegal (ie expected of stealing or something) then they can add it to the list, but WILL NOT stop you...

    H to N reg disco? 2 questions.

i think i know that man!! what you want is to buy a heap off someone who doesn't want it and is planning on scrapping it, but isn't in the 'LR fold' so doesn't realise it is good for defenders. I may have sourced 2 engines for you. just finding out a price. considering i paid £925 for my 90...

    H to N reg disco? 2 questions.

you just missed out on a mint 300tdi! £500 needed 6 matches welded for mot. i thought that was over priced for what you wanted it for. my mate bought a disco with 4mth mot and tax with 200tdi in it for £175. he did get lucky mind. so i would say £200 is about right if everything works!

    Insurance for under 25's

depends really. its a silly risk to take. depends how much you want that a bar. in reality shed load of cars drive around with mods and the owners don't realise. my sister bought an mx-5 with bodykit, coilovers, alloys etc and thought it was a special edition!!

    Insurance for under 25's

some insurance companies allow no mods. a bars are only illegal on newer ars since the rubber bull bars came out. anyway, it came already fitted and you didn't realise it was a mod. surely?
