Thanks, i'll give it a try, noticed when i put the heater fan on it jumps up, also I fitted an electric fan (just on/off no thermostat) and when i switch that on it also jumps up?

I had one that arrived that said 'G' but it was in a brit part box, so i bought another and fitted hope it works out,

read a lot of posts on temperature gauges during a conversion, took a 19j out and put 200tdi in, swapped the temp sensor over and it reads high, if i put the headlights on it goes into the red, if i put the electric fan on it goes into the red, i haven't wired anything else in, and everything...

False alarm! Put a new fuel filter on, did what you said to the lift pump, cracked the injectors and bled it, fired up an no knocking, just paranoia.... I hope? thanks

200 tdi conversion (19jtd) I've now taken the flywheel housing of the disco and removed the big gasket ERR1440, when I removed the 19j housing there was no gasket, do I need one or just use RTV? also I am replacing the rear crank oil seal, whats the difference between the ERR2532 and ERR2532G...

have read all kinds of threads on this forum regarding the 300tdi , seems to be quite a few modifications needed, someone says the lt77 gearbox isn't man enough and you have to put a r380 in which pushes the engine forward and you have to change the engine mount brackets etc..... but dont quote...

Just bought a defender electric oil pressure gauge, any ideas what pressure sensor i need? 19j 2.5 td, I think the ones advertised are just for the oil pressure light, don't think they work on a gauge?

Got the same problem, heavy rain filled the relay up, (in france) got a simular one but it kept blowing the ind fuse, ordered up another relay, fitted it and nothing, i've got purple power to hazard switch and green to relay but its not putting power to the other posts, could be another wrong...
