    I was talking to you about that on the phone and took it off of the IRD to test and you said to reconnect it back to the IRD to prevent any particles of dirt going down the pipe, so I pushed it back on the IRD. When the filter comes tomorrow or Saturday I will remove it from the IRD pipe and...

    yes that connected at one end to the solenoid and the other end is connected to the IRD

    Which black hose? and I noticed the oil, have been checking to see if the oil level is going down but it seems ok?

    Replaces two hoses is all so far, the New plain blue one in pic two and the black longer one in pic one, which had a 1cm split in it.

    Nodge just read back, yep I defo tried that, though I only went around the block with it, should I have taken it for a longer test drive or something? there are no hills near me.

    Hi Nodge. is that the hose which I said was connected to the pipe with the downturn. If so I did try that but still the same, if not erm, please remind me.. I put it back on following advice..

    I was reading the item description for the EGR blanking kit. it sais that by fitting one of these there would be less smoke, better fuel consumption and better engine performance. How does such a simple looking piece of kit do so much?

    Power steering fluid. Ok I guess this is going to sound ridicules but I've noticed that my power steering fluid is almost at the lower level in the reservoir. can I use any power steering fluid or does it have to be specific?

    Your absolutely right, stupid for asking really. Will wait till Thursday to see if any better deals come up like you said. failing that I will order from the list you have provided. I feel 20 stone lighter already. Many many thanks
