Should I connect the hose with the filter to something with a cable connector or just leave it dangling loose at the back or the air filter box?

Hi Gary & everyone. All parts arrived yaay, fitted the turbo filter with the arrow pointing towards the hose, hope that's right. Noticed that the black smoke kicks out at around 2000rpm if that means anything?

Well I know I can have the engine cover, air filter cover and the big plastic thing that the turbo hoses are connected all off in about 10 minutes as I've done that to fit the long vac hose. after that it will all be a learning curve. I guess you can dictate what needs to be done and I can have...

lol in the last week ive learned what vacuum hoses are, where before this week if someone asked I would have said they are connected to a hoover.

I wouldn't have known if the other end of the pipe that was connected to the solenoid was in the right place or not.. I only learned that it shouldn't have been through here, I think it was Nodge that educated me on that.

But I think that's when I first noticed the oil around that area.
