Been having gearbox issues for a while, and a nasty noise on startup (with clutch depressed) or on coming down the gears (especially 3 to 2, and 2 to 1). Last week, got halfway out onto a major A-Road roundabout and then had no drive at all - move the selector 1 through 5 no clutch at all...

Had the MAP sensor out today, and it was caked in crud. First run, rev'd smoothly through to 5K, awesome this is more like it I thought. Next run, gets "held back" around 3K, hmm, so this suggests a gremlin somewhere! Will get a new MAP and see if that's the culprit.

I think we can call me half sensible with the spanners :-) Thanks Buckshot - will give it a shufty when I can plan some downtime (currently covering just over 1000 business miles a week)
