I assume they still have to take gear box out to sort that though?

Well it's now in garage and I'm expecting a bill of anything from £500 - £800 great! They're taking the gearbox out to fix it and will check clutch whilst they are at it. Anyone got any suggestions as to a nice reliable car I could exchange for!

Hmm ok so RAC say not clutch but seems to be gear selector? Any views? You think this might be the issue and if so how much £££ will local guys be taking from me this time!

They have the hard removable rear cover and sunroof. It's lovely to drive and very comfy but looks like it gonna bleed me dry so I might well get rid of it - shame!

Yes pump had power to it, and no pump action at all. It's been replaced so got it back this pm. Seems to be a much happier hippo, feels lighter too for some reason (maybe that was the wadge out of my pocket :rolleyes: ). Not hoping to visit Uncle Andy for some time now!

Hmm well they check all the sparks and switches and the fuel pump is dead, not sending anything through at all, no life in er and yes it's with Uncle Andy's Northern Irelander. They tried Hursts and also a few other places for a recondititoned pump, problem is no-one has a spare to they've had...

Milkshake lads, milkshake ................... or else the lad in question should be earning mega bucks a la Ron Jeremy!

Any suggestions on something that really works? I have some annoying stains (looks like vanilla milkshake and I have no desire to think it anything else!!) on the fabric seats - really would like to get rid of it as it's the only things spoiling my otherwise very nice interior.

Could be coaxed in to a TD4 - but not by any of you lads! THey definitely less prone to probs and issues?
