Hello everybody, just to clear things up. I am looking for the engine breather, the military one connects from top of rocker cover to sump through oil cyclone. I have the cyclone but need the pipes and the sump.:)

Hello just purchase engine of ebay and it has arrived without any fuel lines or diesel filter:mad:. If you have fuel lines and filter from a defender with a 2.5na engine give me an email and we will see if we can agree a price.:) I am fitting it into a S3 petrol.

the right hand engine mount does have to be taken of. Easy solution - buy engine mounts for 2.5na from richards chassis and weld on. Simple if you can weld - hassle if you cannot.

I am at the moment installing a 2.5na in to my s3 swb. I thought about the 200tdi route but given the safety features on my landy going above 50mph scares the **** out of me. If you do not want to go fast then the 2.5na would do ok. You could go down the 200tdi route but it is more hassle and...

Looked at the steve parker exhaust but it costs 230 quid. So decided to get 2.25 exhaust manifold 40 quid and put standard 2.25 exhaust on 60ish quid.:)

Hello anybody wired up the heater plugs when converting their petrol landy to diesel. Was wondering how you did it. I already have diesel ignition switch.

Hello - can anybody tell me if the 2.25 diesel inlet manifold fits onto the 2.5na defender engine. I am replacing my old petrol engine with 2.5na defender engine just incase you are wondering why I need to know. Also does the 2.25 diesel exhaust manifold fit? Thanks for your help:)

Can anybody tell me why the "for sale" section is full of very old ads. This is bloody stupid. You search for an item and you think, yes, somebody is selling just what you are looking for. You then look at the ad more carefully and its dated January 2008 - Bloody stupid section.

Hello does the LT77 bell housing from a defender fit on to a series gearbox. I want to know because I might have the chance of getting a 2.5na diesel from a defender but it has no bell housing. Thanks foe help.

where? I have used the search engine it only shows an engine for sale dated 2009.

sorry forgot to mention buy prop bolt removing tool, it makes taking the bolts of easy!!

I read some where that a bloke pushed in two oil seal into the gearbox to stop it leaking!! Even with new seal it will usually leak a little. As for the rear crank oil seal, if it is not leaking do not change it. The design of this seal is ***** useless.
