ive got a discovery with a miss fire its fine on lpg but miss,s when switched to petrol i changed the plugs cap and arm and cthe miss fire went the following day i started it up and its back the plugs are black and obviously over fueling could this be down to the air flow meter ...

yeah thats wot im thinking fuel .. the plugs were soaked when i changed them , when reving the engine the rev,s take a while to die down hmmmm :confused: air flow meter :confused::confused:help

its all flushed ,, big lumps of brown **** were coming out of the rad ,, but than it woz , spanked it to luton at ,,,,mph and it got up to next digit on from the middle dont know where normal is ???? loads better still running a little hotter than i remember so im wondering if the rad may...

ive done a sniff check well i done it twice and it past every time :confused: i had it running for about 30 mins earlier to do the sniff check it woz fine temp went up a bit when i put the cap on ,, i kept watching the needle and when i put the heater on the needle seem to waver a little just...

well ive been pressure testing at 14psi for around 40 mins now and the needle on the guage has dropped about a needle width , is that relaventor should,nt there be any drop ???? gonna do a chemical sniff test on it later :confused: :confused:

i got the stat and water pump from p38 spares and i have replaced the viscous coupling , and yes when i put the heater on it did cool it down quite a bit ,, could it be a blocked rad ??????

do they suffer from air locks ??????

before any one asks yes i have done a search :confused: my 4,0se is getting warm , its hotest ive seen it just idleing on the drive the temp went right up just touching the red i changed the water pump and stat a while ago and its been fine , i topped the coolant up by removeing the top...

my 4.0ltr p38 starts fine first time around , but if you turn the engine off after even 2 mins , it wont start straight away on the first crank , it goes on the second after about 5/10 secs of cranking ???? does,nt matter if its hot or cold , if it had carbs and a mechanical fuel pump i would...

got a 93 classic SE A ,,, the near side rear air bag will not inflate , it woz ok when we picked it up saturday , but when it had new tyres fitted sat afternoon they said it had a lazy bag , any ideas,,, already done a search ,,

i would,nt have thought the spigot end bearing woz at fault that supports the main out put shaft but if the clutch release bearing is a different matter if whilst putting the engine in the release bearing has been knocked by the main shaft it may have came uncliped , just a thought :eek:
