yep always, always hard to pull out the first time then easy when testing level tho.

i just found something on net. if the engine oil overheats then could that be the reason why the oil was coming from the dipstick??? uncle never put the coolant cap ack right the other day and it overheated yesterday on the way to oulton park. was on motorway at the time.

what u meen??? if ya talking about min and max, the oil was just above min. on outside looks like area around the dipstick and been sprayed by oil out of a spray bottle.

oh and i just remembered, from checking oil level (which was low) i noticed that the dipstick seems to of had a leak. looks like oil has come out of top of the dipstick tube. got oil over side of engine and back wall. any ideas???

also i could do with a new fuel pump, not very acurate whith the deisel dial on dash.

i recently changed the fuel filter becuase mum put petrol in it. but miles have not changed. same as before. it does blow black smoke, but only when pushed to very high revs. how much to get new injectors, or refurbs???

lol, defo. i have actually checked all the wheels, jacked it all up and spun wheels to check the brakes aint sticking but no problems found. handbrake on and off. all ok.

hi all hi can someone give me a step by step to change the fuel pump on a 2.5DT P38. as far as i no its drop the tank and change the pump on the floor. but how does the fuel filler pipe come off. have not started this yet, just want all the advice before i start. thanx.

all fixed now, wound down then up and held for 5 secs until it said window set on dash. thanks.

hi all, just changed the battery this morning and now when ever i touch a window switch i get an window set error. how do i fix this????

no i could be doing 30 smoothly and all of a sudden it will veer and i will have to correct it, but come to think of it, the steering seems slack. not sharp at all. dont no if thats normal for RR's
