its not the screw that holds the piston down its the screw that blocks the access hole to the screw that locks the piston in place. surely this not being in place would cause problems with suction????

omg im such a prat!!!!! just found the hex screw sitting on my table. its the screw that goes in the side of the pump so you can accsess the piston screw. its been left of so im guessing its not working cause of this. omg i blame the mrs. rushing me!!!!! lol i will screw it back in...

had only a small amount of pressure coming out of oulet on the pump and couldnt feel any suction on the inlet. took the pump apart and piston seal was shredded and had a small scratch on the liner so i replaced it all. its all fitted back together and put pack in car. tested it and its...

ok i have taken the outlet off the pump and i can see the piston inside it. looks like a white seal around the piston itself is cracked and broken. cant find my 8mm socket to get the 2 bolts out from other end. what seals should i check and most likley need changing??

Thanks for suggesting that thread, printed it off and tested the pump. its now off the car and its gonna be stripped to find the problem. small (and i meen small) suction on inlet, and a perfetic amount coming from oulet. cant see where the exhaust is tho. Where do i look for that?? not that...

i've sprayed all the connections and air lines where i can get to and cant see any leaks. put suspension up and went up as normal, tried to do it again and back end went up at half speed and front took for ever. loosing pressure in pump by the looks of it. can anyone recomend a decent priced...

i get that alternator fault warning very rarely. changed battery as terminals were totally dry and now car starts fine but still had the warning about 3 times in last 3 weeks. tested and all fine. dont no why it still saying the fault.
