There's no smoke at at, the car is on a replacement engine but not sure of its mileage I'm in Dorset, is there anyone local who can do the adaptive reset?

Had a second emmisions test done, it's better but still a bad fail... CO - 5.183% HC - 216 lambda - 0.840 So it's still running rich after all the effort. The tester suggested an oil change as it's pretty mucky - can this throw the emmision results? Thanks

Today I had a terra clean done on the 4.6 v8. I also bought some more petrol (again)...

I've got it soaked in wd40, and will keep spraying both mounts for the next 24 hrs - until parts arrive...

Yeah I know it's brave (or stupid) but it's done now and the car survived :) Will get it onto the emmisons reader tomorrow at the local garage and compare the results... Fingers crossed it's within the limits!

Fair point I have just bought a new set of plugs, leads and a new air filter - so will change them over this afternoon and see what happens... Looking at the leads, some of them are red and some are black, suggesting they are of different ages - could all be down the the leads maybe...

Confused how this has made it to be a 1995 truck then? Could ex MOD stuff be registered later than the build date?
